San Francisco Treat

We spent the last three days in San Francisco with Josh's student leadership class. The school year starts next week, so this was their summer retreat to help them bond and prepare for the year. We took Isaiah, and what an awesome adventure that turned out to be. Here are some of the highlights...

There were 24 students, 4 parent chaperones, 2 kids (including Isaiah), and 2 teachers that piled on bikes and made our way across the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a gorgeous day, and a challenging but fun bike ride.

Josh rode with Isaiah on the back of his bike. Isaiah's helmet was too big and practically covered his face (as you can see in the pic), so he cried most of the ride. He's a trooper for sure.

Isaiah had a blast riding on BART from Pleasanton into San Francisco. I think he just enjoyed being out of a car seat and yet still going somewhere. He's already a true urbanite.

Isaiah and I braved jumping on the cable car in the middle of its route together. Our friend Dorina and her baby Meilani rode at the same time (with the same baby carrier on), so the cable car driver called us kangaroo mamas. It became our little nickname for ourselves. Aren't we the coolest?

After a long day in the city, Meilani and Isaiah crash hard. We had quite the adventure in the city lugging around two babies and all of their gear. We defnitely made some wonderful memories. Lets just say the day had the makings of a future Hollywood movie in it. "Babes in San Fran Land" "Adventures in momsitting" "Isaiah Tosland's Day Off" (Ok, I give up)
