Lazy Afternoon Fun

Isaiah and Dad spent the afternoon relaxing on the sun drenched couch. Fresno finally has good weather (we get a couple of weeks of good weather in between extreme summer and winter). We try to take walks every night and enjoy the dreamy dusks while we can.

Beach Trip

Isaiah spent his first day at the beach this weekend. It was a sunny and beautiful day in Cayucos, where Isaiah was fascinated by the ocean. He laughed and smiled the whole time, until we had to leave. We'll definitely be making more visits to the coast. The kid has surfer blood running through his veins.

Isaiah and Brock

Isaiah made a new friend this weekend; Brock. He even offered to give him a ride on his toy. Brock is 15 months old and gave Isaiah some great walking and talking lessons.

Brock's mom and dad (our friends Kerri and Scott) came to visit us this weekend. We had a great time hanging out and letting the boys play together. Right now they just kinda stare at each other, but I'm sure they'll be getting into all kinds of mischief in a few years.

Movie Night

For our end of the summer romp this weekend, we had an outdoor movie night in Doug and Tiff's backyard. We projected Cheaper By The Dozen 2 on a big sheet, BBQed, ate lots of junk (like s'mores), and enjoyed one of our last summer nights. It was a blast. We are definitely gonna make this one a tradition.
