Isaiah finishes up a bowl of bananas and rice cereal. He is determined lately to feed himself. He tends to get more of the food on his body than in his mouth, but the effort is quite entertaining.

Isaiah and his cousin Ethan are both basketball fans. They are definitely going to be buddy troublemakers one day. Talk about two wild and crazy guys.
When you wish upon a star... you always wind up in Disneyland. Disneyland has always been a favorite place of mine. I have so many great memories, from exploring the park when I was a kid with my cousins to getting engaged on Main Street under the "Disney" snow and Christmas fireworks. I didn't think Disneyland could really get that much better, until I took my own son there. Now, we are creating memories for him and we get to enjoy Disneyland in a whole different way (like we actually go on those annoying kid rides like Small World). Don't get me wrong, we still go to Disneyland for our own enjoyment (the new Space Mountain rocks). Having kids just puts some extra yummy thick frosting on the already sweet cake. Hope you enjoy these pictures from our trip.
Isaiah was very lucky at Disneyland to be able to hang out with both sets of grandparents, his Auntie Jodi and her boyfriend Derrick, and of course his practically perfect parents. We had a great time. Here are Isaiah, Mom, Dad, and Ma hanging out in a Bug's Land a Disney's California Adventure.
This is Isaiah tripping out on the Small World ride. He actually loved the ride and was captivated (maybe hypnotized) by the colorful people and that obnoxiously addicting music. Once you start singing it in your head, there's no turning back. You know you are singing it right now.
This is the closest we got to actually riding the teacups (we thought one member of our family spitting up was enough).
Yipee! When Dad's driving, Isaiah's stroller is the most exciting ride in the park.
Isaiah's first ride on a merry-go-round in Fantasyland.
Mom & Isaiah - pirate buds for life
Isaiah loved playing in the water at Disney's California Adventure.
Isaiah - future fire fighter
Dad and Isaiah in front of Disneyland Main Street Train Station.
Isaiah laughing it up in with his pool toy. Summer time rocks.
Dad and Isaiah hanging out in the pool. Isaiah tested out his new float that his Ma Hawaii bought for him. He laughed and smiled the whole time he was in the water. I think he likes it.
We woke up today to a nice surprise in our yard. It was such a beautiful job that I had to take a picture and post it. It may just be coincidental, but Josh's basketball girls had a slumber party the same night. Hmmmmm. They actually came over later in the morning to help clean up.
Does Isaiah look comfortable or what? Lets hope that he's like this all the way down to Anaheim tomorrow (we're going to Disneyland this weekend).
Isaiah got to hang out today with his friend Brady. They were both taking their morning naps, when Isaiah decided to wake up for the picture. He's showing a nice sexy midriff in this pic. His bud Brady also has his own blog (bradycole.blogspot.com), so they get to be famous on the world wide web together.
Isaiah has a blast in his Baby Einstein exercise disc (an awesome gift from my friend Bern). He also has a blast drooling all over his shirt (as you can see). He has at least one tooth to show for all the drooling.
Mom and Isaiah trying to beat the heat. This was his first time in our little backyard pool. The water was very cold, but he seemed to really enjoy it.
Isaiah and his new little girlfriend Meilani Cora Gilmore. He looks like super baby next to Meilani. She is only 6 weeks old and a total doll. I don't think Isaiah was totally thrilled about sharing the limelight (he's got that great "what the heck" expression on his face). That's good for now. No girlfriends allowed until he's 18. It's all about mama for now.
You may wonder what we are feeding Isaiah. He's our little Chunk. It has been really hot in Fresno lately, so this is Isaiah worn out from the heat.
The crew at Disneyland during Spring Break. My mom just sent me this picture from Isaiah's first trip to Disneyland. He's a regular already. We are going this weekend for his third trip. Pirates of the Caribbean just opened (its been closed all year for remodeling), so we are really excited.
Isaiah's first night in a hotel. We spent the weekend in San Francisco. Quite the adventure. Isaiah was great and really enjoyed himself. Unfortunately the camera wasn't working, so we didn't get any pictures of the cable cars, Fisherman's Wharf, BART, Pier 39, or anything else (except this exciting vacation photo of him on the hotel bed). Hey, we always have the memories.
Mason poses with a tiger (fortunately with a fence between them). The Fresno Zoo is cool enough to have tigers.

Julia's not too thrilled about Golly the Giraffe's big, long, slimy tongue being wrapped around her hand during a feeding.
Isaiah visits the zoo with his auntie and cousins. He slept most of the time. This is a picture of him asleep in the stroller while his auntie and Ethan feed Golly the giraffe. We'll probably be planning the next trip not during his morning nap.
