Teaching them young

Dad and Isaiah on the court. Isaiah is so close to getting that whole dribble thing down. He may need to learn that walking thing first. We'll see.

Team Mascot

Fresno Christian Basketball girls (most of them) and their adorable mascot. This week marked the end of their summer league. They ended with a father/daughter basketball game. It was a blast. Josh played on the father team (which barely won in double overtime). Mom and Isaiah both love watching Dad coach and the girls play. Can't wait til' November.

Trippin on Chuck

Isaiah's first trip to Chuck E Cheese. As you can see, he was a little mesmerized by good old Chuckie. He actually had a great time watching all of the kids (including mom and dad) run around and play all of those addicting money sucking games.

My Cuz

Mason and Isaiah. Isaiah loves Mason and missed him while he was gone at summer camp for a week. Mason is great with Isaiah, holding him and playing with him like a pro.

Party Time

Another picture of Isaiah at Ethan's 4th birthday party with Mom and Julia. Ethan gave him a cute little stuffed football for his party favor (instead of bags of candy thank goodness). The party was great. Ethan's mom, Tiffany, is amazing at throwing parties. She'll play the role of party consultant/aunt for Isaiah's future parties for sure.

Happy Birthday Ethan

Josh, Ethan and Isaiah hang out during Ethan's 4th birthday party. The party was at Pump It Up, a huge place with lots of bounce houses and stuff. As you can see on Isaiah's face, he had a blast.

Play Time

Playtime with the cousins is the best. Isaiah got to hang out with Mason (not shown), Julia and Ethan last night. We spent time at a basketball game, out on the playground and chilling on the floor. Isaiah is lucky to have his cousins just a few blocks away. They are already buds and his entertainment.

Reading material

Our little angel loves his mom's magazines. He loves to tear them up into a thousand pieces and stuff them in his mouth. What a great hobby.

Get me out

Isaiah has moved up to his new bigger car seat (a gift from his aunties Cyndy, Terri Lee, Erika, Lezlee). As you can see from his face, he really enjoys being strapped into the car. We can't wait until he's big enough to face forward. Driving in the car will be a whole new world (I hope).

Isaiah got jump

We have Isaiah on a strenuous development program which includes 20 minutes a day working on his vertical jump in his bouncer seat. He does love this jumper that was a gift from one of his future girlfriends (thanks Tyla). He goes so crazy in this thing, it really makes me nervous for the day he truly becomes mobile. We have a lot of baby proofing still to do in the house. Yikes.

Go Eagles

Go Eagles! Cheering for his favoriate team is hard work. Grammy and Auntie Jodi made Isaiah his very own Eagles jersey to wear to the Fresno Christian basketball games. It even says Tosland on the back. Too cute.

Yabba Dabba Do Da

Isaish cruises Flinstone style in his walker over at Grammy's house. He hasn't quite figured out how to move forward, but his little legs can speed him backwards at a pretty fast pace. Already driving just like mama. 6/18/06

Auntie Jodi

Hanging out with Auntie Jodi. Gosh I love being loved and spoiled by all the women around me. -Isaish, 6/18/06

Future Male Model

I Love Mom

Having fun with mama. Oh the magic of the mother child bond. Nothing compares. Who else would laugh so liberally at my jokes?

Splish Splash

Bath Time - what a blast. Isaiah has his own little rubber ducky pool to take baths in. He is really starting to enjoy bath time (as long as he has plenty of toys to entertain him). Today he realized that kicking your feet really hard in the bath makes water splash all over mom. What a brilliant kid.

Chowing Down

Isaiah digging in on some cereal. He is a great eater. He eats carrots, sweet potatoes, applesauce and even peas. Next stop ... In N Out

6.16.2006

Bill Gates Jr.

The next Bill Gates. Josh lets Isaiah play on his computer until Isaiah gets a little over excited and starts actually changing settings with his fist pounds. We're getting him started early. Pretty soon he will be posting his own pictures and notes. Yah right.

Me & My Cuz

June 14, 2006 - Mason and Isaiah spent the evening watching the basketball game at school. Smiles were everywhere as Josh coached the girls to two consective wins (double header). Isaiah adores Mason, and has a great cousin and role model to look up to.

Game Day

6/12/06 - On our way to see Dad coach the Fresno Christian girls summer league basketball team. Isaiah is their #1 fan and beloved mascot. Although the girls lost, the excitement of game day always puts a smile on Isaiah's face. 6 months old and he has already seen more basketball games than we can count. Dad is sure that he is already building strong mental skills for the game as well as excellent ball handling skills (the basketball in the picture is one of his favorite toys). Go Eagles!

Who me?

If this is the face that Isaiah will make when he is in trouble, we are sure in for it. How could you discipline this? experienced parents are all saying.. "you will."

Mothers Day

Mothers Day 2006 Fresno, CA

Trouts (Doug, Tiff, & kids, Mom, Dad, and Grandma), Toslands, and Pretzers all joined in for brunch at Marie Calendars. Isaiah was dedicated at church earlier in the morning by our Pastor Jim Cecy. Very special day.

Isaiah is born

December 21, 2005 - Isaiah Quinn Tosland graces us with his presence. Definitely worth the wait. Labor and birth was quite the adventure. Its nice that you kinda forget what it was like (because nobody would ever have siblings). Clovis, CA

It does'nt get much cuter than this. Isaiah Quinn Tosland.

The Toz Family

Not the most photogenic family on the world wide web, but charming as heck. Yah right. (Picture - San Diego, Memorial Day weekend, Photographer: Tiffany Trout)
